Mayre “Trot” Griffiths

While her given name is Mayre, as baby learning to walk, she took so many busy little steps every day that both her mother and Cap’n Bill nicknamed her “Trot”, and so she has been mostly called. Cap’n Bill was her favored companion as a child and it was with him that her adventures began. Together they traveled to the bottom of the sea and Sky Island (among other odd places) before settling in Oz.

Unlike Dorothy or Betsy, Trot hasn’t felt a need to grow up. She’s been about fifteen years old for most of the last century.
