Dorothy Gale

Until her sixth year Dorothy Gale lived in the Dakota Territories, raised by her Uncle Henry and Aunt Em. It was as a six year old girl that she first came to Oz, blown there with her dog, Toto, in the family farmhouse. On this first adventure she met the Scarecrow, Nick Chopper, the Tin Woodsman and a self-proclaimed Cowardly Lion. She killed two evil witches and deposed the Wizard. She finally returned to North Dakota with the help of Glinda and a pair of magic slippers.

She returned to Oz many times after that, finally settling there permanently (bringing her Aunt and Uncle with her) shortly before her twelveth birthday. Shortly afterward Glinda attempted to seal Oz away from Earth. The effect was short lived. More terrans came. As Dorothy grew older she became more involved in the politics and defense of her adopted homeland. Now Dorothy stands between two worlds in collision, trying desperately to save them from each other.
